Contracts Manager
Fully qualified and commercially astute, the successful applicant will have significant experience in social housing and residential care building projects. With a good all round knowledge of building, candidates should be fully conversant with all model form of contracts particularly JCT. Only applicants with these qualities will be considered.
Health & Safety Advisor
As a result of employee retirement, the company is seeking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Adviser. Qualified to IOSH and NEBOSH standards, the successful applicant will have significant experience of the construction industry, taking a hands-on approach to ensuring safe working environments.
Human Resources Manager (Part Time)
As part of the continuous improvement plan, the company is seeking to recruit a part or fully qualified HR Manager. The successful applicant must be fully conversant with current employment issues, conditions and legislation and have had experience in dealing with all aspects of human resources. Hours of work are negotiable.
Plant Co-ordinator (Part Time)
With experience of working in a highly competitive market, the successful applicant will be skilled in organising and hiring plant from external companies and providing accurate administration and financial information.
Site Managers
To take control and responsibility for the management of different types of building contracts. The successful applicants will have experience of managing both directly employed labour and specialist sub-contractors and will have either a trades or technical background. Commercial awareness is essential.
Quantity Surveyors
To take responsibility for the financial management of a number of contracts. The duties (amongst others) will involve the preparation and submission of monthly valuations, the analysis of all monthly costs and the organisation and management of sub-contract orders and accounts.
Cost and Bonus Surveyors
These positions involve measuring and valuing the work carried out by our direct labour (predominantly bricklayers and joiners) and subsequently agreeing targets and bonus payments with both senior management and the labour force. Whilst it is considered this position may appeal to a Quantity Surveyor, applications are invited from any persons who consider they may have the relevant experience and ability.
