
Joe Dickinson wins the 2008 Employee of the Year Award.
Building company Jack Lunn Construction has announced its 2008 Employee of the Year as quantity surveyor Joe Dickinson.
The award was presented to Joe by the firm’s managing director, Stephen Bradbury, at a New Year Dinner Dance held to mark the company’s 60 year anniversary.
Every year, the company rewards a member of staff who has demonstrated commitment, hard work and achievements above and beyond the requirements of their role.
Joe Dickinson, aged 26, has been employed by the company for four years, since starting as a trainee quantity surveyor in 2005. Helped by Jack Lunn Construction’s commitment to training and developing individuals, Joe is currently studying for his final exams and will be fully qualified by January 2010.
On presenting the award to Joe, Stephen Bradbury commented: “Joe has demonstrated exemplary technical skills with a positive, solution-orientated and accountable attitude. He is a real team player who is an active contributor and collaborates well with others”.
“He truly deserves to win this year’s award and I personally look forward to working with Joe as he further develops his career with the company”.
On receiving this important company accolade, Joe credited the management team who he says gives him the ownership to take responsibility to develop innovative approaches to new working methods.
