A ground breaking ceremony was recently held to commence the construction of a new £1.85 million warehouse for a local business. Graham Lunn, Chairman of Jack Lunn (Construction) Ltd, the building contractor who have been appointed to carry out the works, and Marco Nocivelli, Vice President of George Barker & Company, part of the Epta Group, are pictured celebrating the start of construction for the new facility at their head office site in Idle, Bradford.
The project, for the UK’s leading supplier of System solutions, refrigerated and dry goods equipment, will provide additional capacity for George Barker & Company, which has seen significant expansion of its business over the last few years.
The works have been carefully programmed to minimise potential disruption to staff and local residents during the 33 week construction period.
Graham Lunn commented ‘We actively support business growth within our region and with a well-established track record in the industrial sector, we are delighted to be working with George Barker & Company to build their prestigious new warehouse”
