We were appointed to construct a new three-storey, steel-framed extension, doubling the size of this secondary school and enabling it to take 1,100 pupils.
Built on a sloping site, the project included new builds for the sports hall, a gymnasium, a performing arts studio, hard-court areas, a drama hall, IT facilities, offices, and two floors of classrooms, as well as an upgrade to the existing art block. We used a traditional brick-and-block façade, concrete floors and a flat roof. The project included a lift installation as well as hard and soft landscaping, including car parking.
