We were asked to construct a brand-new, three-storey training workshop and CAD-drawing training office. The workshops included sections for training in painting and decorating, as well as a large section for training in demolition and in the construction of new houses.
Steel-framed, with masonry to the ground floor and metal cladding to the upper floors, the building was constructed on piled foundations, eight feet away from the beck. The project included a lift installation, car parking and soft landscaping.
This build continues the strong relationship between Jack Lunn Construction and Leeds College of Building, from which we welcome bricklaying and joinery apprentices each year.
