We were appointed to design and build 18 brand-new homes for a Bradford Housing Association under a JCT 98 contract; our third negotiated contract completed for this client. The three- and four-bedroomed homes were built over two and three stories, and by focusing on architectural and layout design, we were able to propose 18 houses on a site where only 16 had been planned.
Our early involvement under the client’s framework agreement, plus value engineering during the initial phases, enabled substantial cost savings to be made on this project.
